Role Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the deployment, automation, and operational reliability of enterprise software platforms. This role will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to build scalable deployment pipelines, manage environments, and ensure high system availability.
The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in improving deployment processes, supporting application environments, and maintaining system reliability across multiple enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support automated testing and continuous delivery.
- Manage build and release processes using Azure DevOps or similar DevOps platforms.
- Automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Support application hosting environments and infrastructure configuration.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and operational health.
- Manage application releases and coordinate deployment schedules.
- Support environment provisioning and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application delivery and DevOps practices.
- Support identity and access management processes and environment security.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, build/release, or infrastructure engineering role.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Experience supporting application deployments, release management, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of application hosting environments, infrastructure, and system monitoring practices.
- Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with databases, APIs, and enterprise application environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
