DevOps Manager

Brampton ON (4 day onsite)

Project overview:

Helping the client modernize and strengthen its platform ecosystem to support business growth and innovation. You will play a key role in driving platform improvements, promoting engineering best practices, and delivering solutions that enhance productivity and reliability

Devops Requirements:

• Platform engineering with strong cloud infrastructure fundamentals — Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Networking, Compute, Storage, IAM/WIF, BigQuery, Cloud Logging)
• Development proficiency in Golang and Python — for platform tooling, automation, and microservices
• GitLab — CI/CD pipelines, repo administration at scale
• Terraform — IaC authoring and management across many projects/teams
• Kubernetes — hands-on operational and architectural depth (GitOps/ArgoCD, RBAC, custom controllers)
• Team handling — proven experience managing and growing a distributed engineering team
• Experience with OpenTelemetry collector fleet management & OpenTelemetry in general
• Observability stack experience (Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, PagerDuty)
• Exposure to AIOps/FinOps practices
• Experience with Backstage or other internal developer platforms
