Document Controller

DescriptionThe Document Controller will act as the primary document control focal point for assigned portfolio projects with our client, providing end‑to‑end, hands‑on support.

Responsibilities include

• Managing day‑to‑day document control activities such as document uploads, naming and validation, transmittals, status reporting, and QA/QC checks to ensure compliance with established procedures. S
• Support and help drive the rollout and ongoing use of Omega 365, including transitioning from Aconex on certain projects, creating and assigning document numbers, and facilitating document reviews and approvals.
• The individual will work closely with engineers, project teams, and external contractors, confidently interfacing with stakeholders and providing guidance to users who are unfamiliar with EDMS systems. This includes onboarding and training project team members and contractors on document control principles, processes, and tools.
• The role requires balancing hands‑on execution with stakeholder engagement, acting as the on‑site expert while proactively identifying issues, feeding them back to the project team, and supporting the successful delivery of a high volume of project documentation.

• Strong document control expertise within Infrastructure/energy construction projects
• Solid understanding of EDMS platforms (Omega 365 or similar)
• Verbal ability to educate and support stakeholders who are unfamiliar with document control systems
• Confident, proactive communicator with both internal and external stakeholders - engineers and contractors
• Hands on experience with day-to-day document control activities

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
