This posting is intended to build a pipeline of strong engineering talent across multiple disciplines including Manufacturing, Quality, Process, Automation, and Environmental Health & Safety.

Essential Functions
Engineers at Fender play a key role in supporting production, improving processes, and enabling innovation across the factory. Depending on the role and team, responsibilities may include:
- Supporting and improving manufacturing processes to drive efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Identifying and implementing process improvements using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
- Troubleshooting production issues and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Product Development
- Supporting new product introduction and process validation activities
- Developing and maintaining documentation such as work instructions, standard work, and process controls
- Evaluating and implementing new equipment, tooling, or automation technologies
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and drive decisions
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams without direct authority
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred but not required:
- Experience with process improvement tools (DMAIC, A3, PFMEA, etc.)
- Exposure to automation, controls, or production systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience in high-volume or consumer products manufacturing
