Full Stack Developer

• *Role Overview**

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with strong frontend expertise to help build the next generation of our loan platform.

This role is frontend-heavy (~60–70%), focused on building high-quality user interfaces using Next.js, while also contributing to backend services and APIs built with Node.js and NestJS.

You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver features end-to-end—from Figma designs to production APIs.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning features across the stack while maintaining a strong focus on user experience and performance.

• *Responsibilities**

Frontend (Primary Focus)

• Build modern web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Implement responsive UI using Tailwind CSS
• Translate Figma designs into production-ready interfaces
• Work closely with product and design teams to improve usability and workflows
• Optimize frontend performance (bundle size, rendering, caching)
• Ensure accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
• Maintain scalable component architecture and frontend best practices

Backend

• Develop APIs and backend services using Node.js and NestJS
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend applications
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL
• Contribute to backend architecture and service design

Engineering Practices

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborate with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and deployments
• Contribute to improving engineering standards, tooling, and documentation
• Help scale the platform while maintaining security, reliability, and performance
• *Requirements**

Core Skills

• 4+ years of experience as a Full-Stack or Frontend Engineer
• Strong proficiency with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Experience building responsive UI systems using Tailwind or modern CSS
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and web performance
• Experience building or integrating REST APIs
• Experience with Node.js backend development

Backend & Infrastructure

• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience working with Git and modern development workflows

Engineering Skills

• Strong problem-solving and debugging ability
• Ability to collaborate effectively with design, product, and engineering teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with NestJS
• Experience with Docker or containerized environments
• Knowledge of fintech, lending platforms, or compliance-heavy systems
