We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Engineering team and help build our next-generation 3D geospatial platform, which leverages the latest advancements in machine learning and geospatial data processing to construct precise digital models of customer assets. Responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Developer, your responsibilities include:
- Driving the development, testing and maintenance of geospatial platforms and automated data processing tools and workflows using scalable cloud computing resources
- Designing, coding, and creating innovative solutions and workflows to solve difficult problems in geomatics
- Developing, deploying, and integrating best-in-class technology on a cloud environment to produce repeatable and reliable results for our customers
- Driving our engineering development cycle including detailed requirements, architecture and design, implementation, code reviews, code standardization, and quality control
- Bringing a detailed understanding of the processing, analysis, and manipulation of 3D data
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 6+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript
- Experience working with SQL databases
- Hands-on experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Angular
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Experience with data science and/or remote sensing data, including LiDAR and optical sensors, as well as geospatial datasets such as raster, vector, and point cloud formats is an asset
- Proficiency in Go and/or Python
- Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM tools such as Prisma
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
- Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines or CircleCI
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Be a creative thinker with a positive attitude and determination to solve customer problems
- A solid understanding of LiDAR sensors and geospatial data
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts and algorithms clearly across diverse audiences
- Able to take initiative and think outside the box
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and effectively

- Strong attention to detail and consideration for process

- Remote-first role with flexibility for candidates based in Calgary, AB or Toronto, ON.
- High-speed internet and familiarity with virtual collaboration platforms (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet) required.
