About AllbasicAllbasic Digital Labs Inc. is a Toronto-based technology company developing AI-powered creative and commerce solutions for fashion, beauty, e-commerce businesses, and digital-first brands.
Our platform brings together AI-assisted content creation, product visualization, virtual try-on, image and video generation, and workflow automation capabilities designed to help businesses create digital content faster, improve product presentation, and streamline e-commerce workflows.
As we expand our Canadian operations, we are looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Engineer to join our early-stage Canadian technology team.
This will be one of our first Canada-based technical hires and an opportunity to work directly with our Founder & CEO on product engineering, Canadian cloud infrastructure, and client and pilot implementations.
The RoleWe are looking for a practical, product-minded Full-Stack Engineer who is comfortable working in an early-stage technology environment.
You will work directly with the Founder & CEO on product priorities and key architecture decisions while taking ownership of technical execution across product development, QA, cloud deployment, integrations, and production support.
This is not a role where you will simply receive isolated engineering tickets.
You will have visibility into product decisions, customer requirements, Canadian pilot implementations, infrastructure priorities, and the continued development of the Allbasic platform.
The position begins part-time at approximately 15–20 hours per week, with the potential to grow in hours and responsibilities as our Canadian operations and customer base expand.

- Build and maintain integrations with APIs, AI services, databases, and third-party platforms.

- Identify technical issues and recommend scalable improvements.
- Participate in product architecture and technical implementation discussions directly with the Founder & CEO.

Google Cloud Canada regions.
- Support cloud configuration with a focus on data residency, security, reliability, monitoring, backup, and production readiness.

- Help improve application deployment, monitoring, performance, and reliability.
- Document infrastructure architecture, deployment procedures, technical configurations, and operational processes.
QA & Production Support• Perform functional QA, debugging, testing, and production troubleshooting.
- Investigate technical issues and implement appropriate fixes.
- Help improve platform stability, performance, and reliability.
- Support release testing and deployment processes.
- Identify recurring technical issues and recommend improvements to reduce future incidents.

- Work with the Founder & CEO to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical actions.
- Support configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and implementation activities associated with Canadian pilots and customers.
- Help convert customer and pilot feedback into product improvements.
- Assist with technical demonstrations and implementation discussions when required.

- Experience building, deploying, maintaining, or supporting production web applications.
- Good understanding of modern frontend and backend development.
- Experience working with APIs and databases.
- Strong debugging and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical execution.
- Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Good English communication skills.

- Experience integrating AI or generative AI APIs into production applications.
- Experience working with SaaS products or early-stage technology companies.
- Experience supporting customers or pilot implementations from a technical perspective.
- Familiarity with e-commerce, fashion technology, beauty technology, digital content creation, or creative AI.
- GitHub projects, open-source contributions, portfolio projects, or other examples demonstrating practical engineering ability.
- Vietnamese and/or Mandarin language skills are considered assets for supporting our international operations and customer ecosystem, but they are not requirements.
How We WorkAllbasic is at an early stage of building and expanding its Canadian operations.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable with:
- Working directly with the Founder & CEO.
- Taking ownership rather than waiting for detailed instructions for every task.
- Contributing to technical and architecture discussions.
- Making practical engineering decisions with limited resources.
- Iterating quickly based on product priorities and customer feedback.
- Working across product engineering, QA, infrastructure, integrations, and customer implementation when necessary.
- Helping establish technical processes that can become more structured as the company grows.
