We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer who does not wait to be told what to build. You see a problem, you scope it, you ship it, and you raise the bar for everyone around you. You are equally dangerous on the frontend and the backend, and you treat AI tools as a force multiplier, not a novelty.

This is a role for a change agent. Someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings a builder mindset to every sprint, and hits the ground running from day one. Role Overview

You will own full stack features end to end, from scoping and architecture to implementation, testing, and deployment. You will be a core member of a small, tight knit engineering team, someone who raises the bar for the people around them, not just their own output.

You will also be a leader in how we integrate AI into our development workflow. We expect you to use AI tools aggressively to accelerate your output, reduce cycle time, and push the quality ceiling higher. If you are not already building with AI in your corner, this is not the right role. What You'll Own Full Stack Product Development

Build and ship full stack features across our web and mobile surfaces, owning both frontend and backend implementation

Architect scalable, maintainable solutions that can support rapid geographic expansion and growing transaction volume

Write clean, well tested code with a high bar for reliability and performance

Own features from kick off through production, with accountability for outcomes, not just delivery AI Powered Engineering

Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and LLM APIs as a daily force multiplier across your workflow

Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI tooling and champion adoption across the engineering team

Contribute to the team's shared knowledge on prompt engineering, AI integration patterns, and agentic workflows

Think alongside the team about where AI can be embedded into the product itself, including areas like smart ordering flows, personalization, and recommendations, and help us validate and prioritize those opportunities over time Platform Speed and Reliability

Improve performance across our ordering and checkout flows, with a focus on reducing latency and increasing conversion

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines that enable the team to ship safely and frequently

Instrument key flows with observability tooling to catch issues before users do

Contribute to infrastructure decisions that keep us fast and scalable as we grow into new markets Cross Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with product managers and designers to translate business goals into technical solutions

Participate in planning and estimation with a bias toward simplicity and speed to ship

Give and receive direct technical feedback in code reviews and architecture discussions

Communicate clearly across functions, including with non technical stakeholders when needed Engineering Culture and Ownership

Operate with a high level of autonomy and take real ownership of outcomes

Push back constructively when scope or approach does not make sense

Mentor and level up teammates through pairing, code review, and shared learning

3 or more years of full stack development experience shipping production grade products

Hands on experience with React Native and ReactJS on the frontend, and Django on the backend; or equivalent depth in a comparable modern stack

Experience building and consuming Graphql * REST APIs and working with relational and non relational databases

Familiarity with GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL preferred), or equivalent depth in another major cloud platform

Hands on experience with CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices

Demonstrable fluency with AI tools in your development workflow, not just familiarity

Product minded, you think about user outcomes and business impact, not just technical correctness

Experience working in a fast paced startup or scale up environment where priorities shift and speed matters

Strong communication skills and the ability to self direct without needing detailed specs Bonus Points

Experience building marketplace, B2B2C, or food tech products

Familiarity with LangChain, OpenAI APIs, or other LLM integration patterns

Experience with real time systems, push notifications, or in app messaging infrastructure

Contributions to open source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio

Experience with Stripe or payments infrastructure

Background in founding, co founding, or early stage startup engineering What Success Looks Like (First 60 to 90 Days)

You have shipped meaningful improvements to core product flows with minimal ramp time

You have identified at least one architectural or product improvement the team had not yet prioritized and driven it forward

AI tools are visibly integrated into your daily development workflow and increasing your throughput The team trusts your technical judgment and sees you as a high ownership partner

You have raised the bar in at least one area, whether speed, quality, or how we think about AI in the product
