About the Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join a dynamic technology team supporting enterprise applications within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of hands-on experience in full-stack Java development and a strong technical foundation in Java, Spring Boot, Vaadin, CSS, Hibernate, and SQL.
This role is ideal for a proactive, self-motivated professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring Boot, Vaadin, CSS, Hibernate, and SQL.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, designers, and fellow developers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software development best practices.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement timely resolutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and contribute to Agile development processes.
Required Qualifications • 3–7 years of professional experience in Full Stack Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building user interfaces using Vaadin and CSS.
- Solid experience with Hibernate and SQL databases.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and enterprise application development.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines is an asset.
- Experience within the energy or utilities sector is considered an advantage.
