GCP DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage GCP services, including Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, IAM, and networking.
• Investigate and fix security vulnerabilities, including vulnerable packages, container images, and cloud misconfigurations.
• Implement OS patches, dependency upgrades, access controls, and secure secrets management.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Terraform infrastructure.
• Validate fixes through testing and rescanning; document remediation progress.
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with GCP, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience implementing security vulnerability fixes and verifying closure.
• Hands-on knowledge of Terraform and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or Jenkins.
• Understanding of IAM, least privilege, networking, and Secret Manager.
• Experience with vulnerability scanners such as Trivy or Snyk.
• Bash or Python scripting skills.

Nice to Have: Security Command Center, Apigee, Java/Node.js application support, and GCP certifications.
