Job description
Hiring: Intermediate Java Developer – Java EE / Spring / AWS
- 7+ years of experience developing n-tier Enterprise applications using Java EE and strong hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java EE, application design, design patterns, deployment, troubleshooting, and unit testing.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Security.
- Strong experience with JPA, Hibernate, or MyBatis for ORM and enterprise application development.
- Excellent database experience with SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle/PL-SQL, PostgreSQL, with Amazon Aurora/RDS highly desirable.
- Experience with AWS Cloud services such as Aurora Serverless, Athena, Amazon S3, ElastiCache, and OpenSearch.
- Experience with BPM/Rule Engine technologies, particularly Camunda BPM and Drools, is highly desirable.
- Front-end experience with React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, or jQuery is required.
- Experience with Web Services, SOA, Agile/Scrum, CI, TDD, and automated testing will be an advantage.
- Location: Toronto – 5 days onsite at 222 Jarvis Street
