Intermediate Java Developer

Our client, an established telecom company in Regina, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work closely with the team on core application components on enterprise projects.

We have placed multiple people with this organization and know the hiring teams well.

• *Term:**

This is a 1-year contract to start; expected to extend long-term - onsite in Regina.

• *What You’ll Do
• Analyze user requirements to inform application design and align objectives with business goals.
• Create high-level and detailed designs, adhering to SI development and testing standards.
• Develop, unit test, debug, and remediate technical problems.
• Recommend changes to existing infrastructure and develop multimedia applications.
• Develop documentation to assist users and provide technical demonstrations.
• Participate in peer reviews, Sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure continuous professional development and project success.
• *What You Bring
• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Developer on medium to large projects.
• 5+ years of JUnit; 3+ years of Spring Boot and/or Angular.
• 3+ years with JSF 2.1, JPA 2.0 (Hibernate), Maven, Git, and Database UI.
• Any telecom experience would be ideal
