Java Backend Developer

Role: Java Backend Developer

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support REST APIs and microservices.
• Work with cloud & container technologies such as OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Work with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in modern, distributed and event-driven application development.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with Kafka/message-driven architectures.
• Exposure to OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker.
• Good understanding of relational databases.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
