Java Developer

Job Description

As a Java Developer, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to define digital strategies, design scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality software that creates measurable business value. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from development to deployment and optimization

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end software delivery including development, testing, deployment, and documentation

Troubleshoot, refactor, and enhance existing codebases for performance and quality

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements

Automate build, deployment, and operational processes

Drive integration of services with a focus on customer experience

Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making

Mentor junior team members and promote best practices

Conduct demos and support product acceptance discussions

Identify process improvements and optimize workflows

Technical Requirements

Strong programming expertise in Java with solid understanding of:

o OOP principles o SOLID principles o 12-Factor App methodology

Experience with

o CI/CD tools and automation pipelines o Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

o Stream processing platforms (Kafka, Apache Flink)

o Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud-first development

Familiarity with

o Secure coding practices (OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT)

o Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)

o Design patterns (Factory, Singleton, Observer, Strategy, etc.)

Ability to write automation scripts in:

o Java, Python, Go, or Bash
