Java Developer

Job Title: Java Developer Location: Canada (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend development, APIs, and modern Java frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Java technologies
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product)
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best coding practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Work with databases and optimize queries for performance
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Java (J2EE / Core Java)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate
• Experience in building REST APIs / Microservices architecture
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (preferred)
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to frontend technologies (React/Angular) is a plus
• Experience working with international teams or clients

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Work Authorization:
