Java/PLSql Lead

• 8+ years of experience in Java application development.
• 8+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Strong expertise in developing, debugging, and optimizing complex Oracle Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, and Views.
• Extensive experience writing high-performance SQL queries and tuning PL/SQL code for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Proven experience analyzing execution plans, query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of transaction management, exception handling, cursors, collections, Bulk Collect, FORALL, and dynamic SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and REST APIs.
• Experience working with Oracle 12c/19c databases in production environments.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures , packages, functions, and triggers for mission-critical applications.
• Optimize existing stored procedures to improve performance and scalability.
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning using execution plans, indexing, and query optimization techniques.
• Collaborate with Java developers to integrate PL/SQL components with enterprise Java applications.
• Troubleshoot production database issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Conduct code reviews focusing on Java and PL/SQL best practices.
• Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance on database architecture and performance optimization.
