Must-Have Skills

Expert-level experience in Java and Spring Boot
Strong hands-on experience designing and developing complex microservices architectures
Proven experience building and supporting high-volume, high-scale REST APIs
Strong experience in application performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
Solid understanding of web applications, distributed systems, and server technologies
Proven Technical Lead experience leading and mentoring development teams
Experience managing and guiding junior and intermediate developers
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with Architects, Product Owners, Business Teams, and Technical Leads
Experience identifying and remediating code-level security vulnerabilities
Hands-on experience with security scanning tools such as Snyk, Checkmarx, SonarQube, or Veracode
Strong understanding of Secure SDLC and secure coding best practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or similar
Strong unit testing and automation experience using JUnit, Mockito, and RESTAssured
Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot or similar AI/LLM tools for code generation, code optimization, and developer productivity
Ability to quickly learn and understand complex business domains

Preferred Experience

Financial Services, Banking, Retirement Services, or Insurance domain experience
Experience working in enterprise-scale Agile environments
