Job description

A client developing a next-generation eVTOL aircraft is looking for a Senior Lead – Hardware Integration to help define the electronic systems that power and control their aircraft.

In this role, you will lead the design and integration of embedded electronic systems supporting avionics, propulsion, and safety-critical functions. Working across avionics, flight controls, propulsion, and systems engineering, you’ll help deliver robust and certifiable hardware for an entirely new class of aircraft.

This is a unique opportunity to shape system architecture, influence engineering practices, and work on cutting-edge aerospace technology within a highly collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and integration of embedded hardware systems
  • Design mixed-signal electronics, schematics, and PCB layouts
  • Define hardware requirements, interfaces, and integration strategies
  • Collaborate with software engineers on hardware/software integration
  • Develop verification and validation plans for hardware testing
  • Support EMI/EMC, environmental testing, and certification (FAA / EASA / TCCA)

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in embedded hardware or electronics engineering
  • Experience with mixed-signal circuit design and PCB layout
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, ARINC 429, Ethernet, UART, SPI, and I²C
  • Familiarity with aerospace certification environments
