Job Summary

Lead Java Developer designs, builds, and maintains Java applications and web services. The role guides software development from planning through testing and delivery, using sound engineering practices to create reliable, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead application development with Java, OOP, and microservices; design REST APIs and integrate web services.
• Develop and maintain database-backed features using SQL, PostgreSQL, Hibernate, and appropriate data models.
• Review code, debug issues, and guide unit testing, Git workflows, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate in Agile or Scrum teams, coordinate technical decisions, and support continuous improvement across the SDLC.

Skills Required: Practical Java software development, OOP, REST API design, debugging, unit testing, Git, and SQL skills are essential for leading application work and delivering maintainable services.

Preferred: Experience with AWS, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, microservices, web development, and CI/CD is advantageous, along with familiarity with Linux, SOAP, or additional programming languages.
