Job description
Become a Linux specialist focusing on diagnostics software for pre-silicon and post-silicon environments. Utilize your Linux engineering expertise to address kernel issues and drive innovation in new product strategies. This high-visibility role involves collaborating with the ASIC design team to understand Linux kernel requirements and propose versions accordingly.
You’ll develop and maintain drivers, build Linux kernel images, and debug boot issues on various platforms. Your contributions will directly support the development of cutting-edge computing experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with ASIC design team on OS requirements
- Develop Linux kernel drivers for diagnostic software
- Build and maintain Linux kernel images and Ubuntu OS
- Debug boot issues in pre-silicon environments
- Set up and manage Git repositories for builds Requirements:
- Proven experience in Linux software engineering
- Proficient in C/C++ and scripting languages
- Strong understanding of X86/ARM architecture
- Familiarity with Linux kernel development and debugging
