We are seeking a Forklift & Shunt Truck Operator to safely move our client's products throughout the plant at our Paris location.

This is a new position, created to support the growth and operational needs of our team.

The salary range for this role is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure transparency and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

Material Movement & Storage

• Safely operate forklifts (Counterbalance & Reach Truck) and pallet jacks.

• Load, unload, and move materials between departments.

• Keep storage areas organized and materials properly stored.

Order Fulfillment

• Pick, verify, and package materials for production orders and shipments.

• Build boxes and crates to protect products during transport.

• Scan and load items onto trucks or shunt vehicles for delivery.

Warehouse Support & Equipment

• Assist the packing team with materials and preparing shipments.

• Operate power tools safely, including chop saws and pneumatic nail guns.

• Maintain equipment cleanliness and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

Experience & Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse shipping/receiving.

Skills & Certifications

• Mandatory: Counterbalance & Reach Truck certification.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

• Physically able to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted.

Personal Attributes

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexible for occasional overtime as needed.

Languages

• English: full reading, writing, and conversational skills.

• French: basic comprehension helpful.
