Millwright

Location: Windsor, ON

Shift:

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Wage: $39-$50/HR - depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Promptly install, inspect, replace, and repair machinery to ensure smooth operations
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, including minor electrical repairs and welding tasks
• Retrieve parts as needed using the maintenance van (personal vehicle may be used; mileage reimbursed)
• Adhere to maintenance schedules and suggest improvements to optimize cost, quality, and service; report any irregularities to the supervisor
• Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical code specifications for industrial equipment installation
• Install, inspect, replace, and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, conduits, switch boxes, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
• Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
• Consistently follow proper lockout/tag-out procedures to ensure safe operation of all machinery

Requirements:

• Red Seal Industrial Millwright - 433A certification or 4th year apprentice 
• 2 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience 
• 2 years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Must have own tools
