REQUIREMENTS

Alberta Journeyman/Journeywoman or Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certification

1+ (one) year of recent work experience in the trade and/or food industry.

Physically capable of performing the tasks attached to your job duties.

Available to work various shift schedules according to production need

Ability to read, write and communicate in English while following written and verbal instructions.

JOB DUTIES AND TASKS

Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.

Install, align, take apart and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks and conveyors according to layout plans using hand and power tools

Position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery

Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions

Operate machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery

Salary: $46.02 per hour
