    Your Mission:

    Leadership

  • Oversee pharmacy team members (excluding pharmacists) in their daily responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions with direct reports.
  • Identify and address performance gaps, implementing improvement plans as needed.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members by being socially poised and motivating team builder that supports and promotes a culture of collaboration.
  • Provides and supports clear communication and alignment to company goals between all Team Members.
  • Operational Oversight

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and scheduling.
  • Monitor daily workloads, ensuring efficient task allocation and workflow management.
  • Assist in the implementation of new initiatives to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and team leads to optimize pharmacy operations.
  • Driving continuous improvement in pharmacy workflows to identify inefficiencies, address operational gaps, and implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
  • Support the achievement of various targets including operational KPIs/benchmarks and the pharmacy budget.
  • Training & Development

  • Oversee onboarding and training of new staff, ensuring they understand procedures and expectations.
  • Provide continuous education and mentoring to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, policies, and best practices, sharing relevant information with staff.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all pharmacy records are accurately entered, maintained, and updated.
  • Monitor adherence to safety protocols, adverse event reporting, and product quality complaint procedures.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance
  • Strategy & Innovation

  • Support relationship-building between the pharmacy, external partners, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and other BioScript business units.
  • Recognize and share awareness of current local competitive activity and business development opportunities.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve pharmacy operations and service delivery.
  • Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Provides clear direction, sets measurable goals, and holds team members accountable for performance and results.
  • Coaches, develops, and supports team members through regular feedback, performance reviews, and career development planning.
  • Fosters a high-performing, inclusive team culture that aligns with company values and business objectives.
  • Additional Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to report any patient safety information as per adverse event reporting requirements and product quality complaints reporting requirements.
  • What You Bring to the Table:

  • Education:High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within BioScript Pharmacy.Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Skills:Business acumen with a strong knowledge of operational aspects of BioScript Pharmacy to integrate best practices effectively.Strong written and oral communication skills.Comfortable using computers and learning various vendor software.Proven customer service skills with a patient-focused approach.Strong time management and organizational abilities to prioritize, plan ahead, and manage workload effectively.High attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.Receptivity to constructive feedback for continuous improvement.Results-oriented, demonstrating a bias for action and motivated by return on investment (ROI).Initiative to identify and complete tasks independently.Capable of lifting and organizing boxes and inventory (up to 25 lbs, repetitivemovements).English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.Bilingualism (French and English) may be required depending on the specific role, location, and the needs of the organization.
  • Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
