PL/SQL Developer

Role: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Location: Mississauga, ON (Remote)

Hybrid Role Summary: The Developer will design, develop, and maintain applications and data components across Oracle, Unix, and Java-based environments. The role focuses on building and optimizing Oracle Forms and Reports, creating complex PL/SQL database objects, and developing automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency. The position also includes supporting and developing Java-based components or integrations to meet ongoing business and technical needs.

The Developer will troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver robust, scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout all phases of the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports applications with a focus on performance and stability. Create and optimize complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and performance‑tuned database objects. Develop automation scripts using Unix Shell scripting and Perl to streamline operational workflows.

Build and support Java-based components or integrations in alignment with evolving system and business requirements. Troubleshoot production issues, conduct thorough root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, deliver enhancements, and support all SDLC activities.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
