The Role
- Support and improve enterprise data platform capabilities
- Provide technical guidance on Azure and Databricks architecture and operational practices
- Lead troubleshooting for complex platform and production issues
- Design, support, and optimise Azure-based data platform services
- Act as a technical representative, mentoring and collaborating with other engineers
- Drive automation initiatives for operational processes and platform tooling
What You'll Need
- Strong experience with Azure cloud architecture and enterprise platform operations
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Function Apps
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks administration and engineering, including Unity Catalog and Databricks Workflows
- Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms, data ingestion, and pipeline operations
- Proficiency in Python scripting, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of API integrations, authentication protocols, and secure cloud platform design
