The Opportunity

Highspring is looking for a Senior Python Developer - AI & GenAI to join one of our machine learning delivery squads. In this role, you will contribute to the development of enterprise-grade Artificial Intelligence solutions, combining strong Python engineering practices with emerging GenAI and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and well?monitored solutions.

What You'll Do

• Work as part of a machine learning and AI delivery squad focused on ML and Generative AI solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Python applications and shared libraries.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution, support, and monitoring of internal Python libraries.
• Collaborate with clients and SMEs to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in prompt engineering activities for LLM-based solutions.
• Maintain and evolve prompt libraries to ensure compatibility with new LLM versions.
• Conduct regular testing, performance analysis, and monitoring of AI solutions.
• Participate in prompt benchmarking and experimentation initiatives.
• Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of professional experience building Python-based applications.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale software solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems.
• Clear, concise, and effective communication skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and adopt new GenAI technologies

Core Skills Required

• Advanced Python development (architecture, multiprocessing, OOP, testing frameworks, REST APIs).
• Strong experience designing enterprise application architectures.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience with system resiliency, scalability, observability, and performance.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile development environments.
