Python Developer

Insight Global is looking for a dynamic Senior Back-end Developer to lead the development and maintenance of service-side logic, collaboration with front-end developers and more. The Senior-level Back-end Developer is expected to have 8+ years of experience. You will join the Digital Store Experiences (DSE) team.

This role spans multiple production systems including store communications pipelines, event-driven data services, and the internal store data API that powers mobile and e-commerce. You will own backend services end-to-end across the full development and release lifecycle in a high-availability, guest-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of service-side logic and databases using relevant coding language(s)
• Lead collaboration with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Develop and implement data protection and storage solutions
• Conduct regular testing, debugging, and quality assurance reviews
• Act as subject matter expert for coding language(s) and solutions design
• Create and maintain relevant documentation and conduct knowledge transfer activities
