TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Python Developer
Pay Rate Range: $70-87
Job Description
This is a 4.5 month contract located in Toronto, ON/ Hybrid (2 days/ week)
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills
- 5+ years of previous experience as a Developer (using any of: Java, Python, C++) with hands-on experience developing applications end to end.
- 1+ years’ recent experience in Python programming
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Exposure to various architecture patterns and design such as message based ETL SQL batch, real time programming, schedule-based batch
- Proficiency with Pandas Dataframe and Numpy
- Experience with cloud-native technologies (GCP, Google Cloud Functions, BigQuery, DataFlow, DataProc, Pub/Sub)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with scheduling tools like Airflow
- Experience with Object Oriented Design
- Experience with Python best practices and Git/Bitbucket best practices
Education
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
