Python Engineer

Job Overview

Requirement/Must Have:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with high-level programming languages.
• Experience with Python and Go is a plus.
• BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong background in distributed systems, and proficient in relational or NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience in designing, debugging, and managing fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code.
• Help support large projects from idea to positive execution.
• Unblock, support and communicate with external and internal partners to achieve results.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
• Share knowledge by giving XX bags, tech talks, and promoting appropriate tech and engineering best practices.
• Execute integrations with partners, making tradeoffs between technical investments and product work.
• Collaborate with other engineers on system design.
• Help shape the product direction by developing a deep understanding of the customer and working closely with cross-functional partners from Product, Design, Science, and Operations.
