Title: Python Engineer

Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid - 4 Days/Week).

Description:

• 7 -8 years of experience in Python Development
• Strong hands-on Python development experience, particularly backend applications and microservices.
• Strong experience using AI/GenAI coding tools to support software development, troubleshooting, testing, and productivity.
• Good development experience with Unix/Linux and Shell/Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience working with messaging technologies such as MQ.
• Good understanding of the complete SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Good experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to TLS, SSL, HTTPS, firewalls, and application/network security concepts.
• Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and cross-functional technology teams.
• Exposure to tools such as Confluence, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
• Experience with cloud technologies is an advantage.
• SWIFT and/or Sanctions domain experience would be a strong plus.
