Job Description:
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Python development, excellent working knowledge of AWS cloud services, and exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools. The candidate should be capable of developing automation solutions, creating pipelines, debugging failures, and supporting application teams with deployment issues in a cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications and automation solutions using Java and Python.
- Design, create, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application development and deployment.
- Debug pipeline and deployment failures and provide technical support to application teams.
- Develop and support cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
- Apply DevOps principles, source control, and release management practices.
- Work with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Harness, BitBucket, and Nexus to support software delivery.
- Support security and vulnerability scanning activities using tools such as SNYK, CrowdStrike, and SonarQube.
- Collaborate with application, DevOps, and engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues and improve deployment processes.
- Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable.
- Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Monitor application and deployment environments and support observability initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of development experience in Java and Python.
- Must have experience in the Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services domain.
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture.
- Working knowledge of DevOps principles, source control, and release management.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Harness, BitBucket, or Nexus.
- Exposure to security vulnerability scanning tools such as SNYK, CrowdStrike, and SonarQube.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts using Terraform.
- AWS Certification.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
