Senior Full Stack Developer (Java, Angular/React)

About The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications that enable critical business capabilities. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

In This Role, You Will

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern full-stack technologies.
• Build and support microservices-based applications using Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and related Spring technologies.
• Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular and/or React.
• Design, develop, integrate, and secure RESTful APIs using modern authentication and authorization frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions in an Agile environment.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and production support activities.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and DevOps best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices across the team.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered

• 6+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Java development and object-oriented programming principles.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Strong experience building modern web applications using Angular and/or React.
• Proven experience designing and securing RESTful APIs using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL optimization, and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, source control systems, automated testing frameworks, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

These will help you stand out

• Experience supporting applications within the Banking and Financial Services industry.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
• Experience working in fast-paced enterprise Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary Transparency The annual base salary for this position is expected to be between CAD $60,300- CAD $95,500, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Compensation decisions are based on several factors, including market conditions and internal equity.
