We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to build and enhance modern web applications.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and developing scalable, high-quality applications.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain full stack web applications
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions
- Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions
- Follow Agile development practices and DevOps processes
What you bring
- 6+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
- Strong experience with Angular 13 or later
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience with the software development lifecycle, unit testing, DevOps, and application security
- Experience working in Agile environments
Nice to have
- Experience leading technical discussions and mentoring team members
- Knowledge of modern application architecture and best development practices
Work setup
- Hybrid role based in Toronto, Ontario
- 4 days per week onsite in downtown Toronto
- 12-month contract
