About The Role
We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team on a permanent basis, working 40 hours per week. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing internal software tools that support the next phase of our quantum processor development roadmap.
Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance software modules across various levels of our software stack, from high-level quantum algorithm definitions to low-level pulse sequence execution on laboratory hardware. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure our software infrastructure effectively supports complex physical systems, enabling us to push the boundaries of quantum computing technology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a highly innovative environment, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in quantum science while honing your software development skills.
Qualifications
- BSc in computer science, computer science engineering, software engineering, physics, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development within industry
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Knowledge of best coding practices and software architecture design
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus
- Experience working in scientific or R&D environments is an asset
- Ability to learn new programming languages and tools quickly
- Motivation and dedication to producing efficient, high-quality code
- Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Responsibilities
