Software Engineer (Python Developer)

• Location: Toronto, ON—Hybrid (4 days on-site per week, 1 remote)
• Pay Rate: $76.03/hr - $89.77/hr
• Contract Length: 12 Months with a possibility of extension

• *Responsibilities
• Work closely with business partners to spec out requirements and develop both new and existing applications that provide business value
• Test, support, and provide ownership of developed applications
• *Must-have Skills
• 5+ years of development experience (preferably in web development/full stack)
• Python and FastAPI: must-have
• Relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle) must (either 1 of the 2)
• API and Web Application development
• *Nice-to-have Skills
• Math/finance knowledge
• University education (any degree)
• FastAPI
• Common frameworks/libraries (Dash, pandas)—nice to have
• The soft skills outlined below are just as important as the technology skills important
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong desire to learn
