Role Description

This role located in Waterloo, ON, for a UAS Engineer. The UAS Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining unmanned aerial systems, including their software and hardware components. Day-to-day responsibilities include working on system architecture, PCB designs, airframes, and troubleshooting issues. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions for various industry applications.

Start date May 2026, we may consider earlier appointment

Qualifications

• Proficiency in UAS system design, development, and integration demonstrated via previous experience
• Experience with embedded systems
• Proficiency with CAD design tools
• Advanced operations RPAS license
• Familiarity with sensors, communication protocols, and navigation systems
• Ability to perform hardware testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
