Abby Grant

Recent Toronto Metropolitan University graduate with 3+ years of graphic design experience and a background in marketing and project management.

As a recent graduate I am looking to start my career full time in the graphic design space. I have been working freelance for Tony Smith Creative, a boutique design agency, for 2 years in between my studies. I also completed an internship at Rogers Sports & Media that was primarily project management with some graphic design related tasks. Additionally, I worked at a Toronto Metropolitan University student-led magazine called Canculture where I helped to develop their first print issue among other accomplishments.

I studied at Toronto Metropolitan University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in the Creative Industries program. This program is described as an arts and business degree for people who want to study and work in the creative economy. Within my time at TMU I specialized in Media Business which revolved around digital media and business studies, and Publishing and Printing which revolved around learning about graphic communications, printing processes, and book publishing.
