As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, the primary responsibility is to ensure that the workplace is safe for employees and meets all relevant regulations and guidelines. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing safety policies and procedures, and training employees on safe work practices. The specialist is also responsible for investigating workplace accidents and incidents, as well as identifying and implementing corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

When looking for a job in occupational health and safety, the specialist should look for organizations that prioritize employee safety and have a strong commitment to compliance with regulatory standards.
