About
A compassionate Registered Nurse (CRNA) with over 7 years of experience in patient care. I am committed to providing friendly living environment while promoting independence and healthy lifestyles. Skilled in medication support, conflict resolution and working in a low-barrier housing environment. Experience
I have held several positions ranging from a Registered Nurse position to Personal Support Worker, and Resident Support worker. I am currently working as Personal Support Worker at Cheraka Rehab where I perform the following:
- manage and escalate behaviour and report cases directly to the manager
- provides medication and meal program support
- conducts daily wellness checks and completes hourly round of the building
- recognize, analyze, and respond to potential emergencies
- monitor vital signs, administer medications, keep-up-to-date records of patients
- encourages and support clients to make healthy choices and practices
- perform housekeeping duties for clients
Education
I have a bachelor's degree in nursing and also hold a valid license as a Registered Nurse with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
