During my studies for a Health Science degree while in University, I started volunteering for Cardiology Research and was offered an assistant position within 6 months due to my attention to detail and eagerness to learn. Throughout my time in research I grew curious of the Healthcare aspect of Cardiology and went back to school for the position I am currently in. Health and technology are my core interests and I look forward to explore my curiosity for research in the future.
As a Cardiology Technologist I conduct and analyze results of cardiac diagnostic testing, including ECGs, standard/nuclear stress testing, and Holter monitoring, for interpretation by medical staff.
During my time in Cardiology Research, I maintained regulatory documents and administrative responsibilities. I also aided in ethics renewals, medical data entry, patient follow-ups and overseeing the start-up and completion of industry-sponsored trials Additionally, I contributed to the training and onboarding of junior research personnel.
My most recent education was at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) for a Cardiology Technology diploma. I also I have a Bachelor's of Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University (SFU).
