Software Development Engineer In Test - Global Relay

• Developed automated test cases covering all acceptance criteria for new features
• Built Python validator for mock data JSON file formats, catching malformed test data on Xcode runs (filling a gap in Xcode's native tooling)
• Built Python tooling to detect orphaned test assets by cross-referencing Swift test files against their backing JSON data files; runs on every Xcode build to surface dead files as the codebase evolves (34+ orphaned files removed on first run)
• Led an initiative to migrate Objective-C mock data framework to Swift and implemented additional features for JSON Templating and JSON inheritance - cut 205+ redundant JSON files
• Collaborated with product and other engineers to refine scope and acceptance criteria
• Discovered 75+ bugs through exploratory testing focused on state transitions, race conditions, and stress scenarios (backgrounding, network degradation), surfacing UI freezes from swipe gestures, duplicate contact creation, and app crashes that automated tests missed

• Led development of new native iOS and Android eSIM marketplace app
• Built an internal component library of 17+ configurable SwiftUI elements (custom buttons, form fields, card layouts, list views, loading indicators) used across 33+ screens, accelerating feature development
• Drove foundational tech stack decisions for the app - SwiftUI, SPM (over CocoaPods), Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Xcode Cloud / CircleCI for CI/CD - securing product team buy-in on timeline and scope
• Co-designed REST API contracts with the backend engineer for eSIM plan catalogs, checkout, user accounts, and wallet/coupon flows; authored mock response files that unblocked parallel iOS and Android development and doubled as fixtures for automated tests
• Developed and maintained automated test suites, increased test coverage to > 85%
