Equipped with two years in community organization through my positions as a Membership and Outreach Committee member for the Kensington Market Land Trust as well as a community organizer's assistant at ACORN Canada, I have garnered experience working with people on the ground in order to maintain a grassroots ethos. I have also honed my interpersonal skills with tenants in both organizations and analyzed data, created maps using ArcGIS, and researched current policies. Moreover, I have been working in customer service for 3+ years with my positions as a barista and retail.
Further, I was a Korean teacher instructor for JK/SK students through TDSB's Focus on Youth Program for two years and a Korean teacher's assistant for 4 years through TDSB's Saturday Languages program.
A recent graduate from the University of Toronto (St George) receiving a B.A in Human Geography with a Focus in Urban Planning and Sociology, I held positions such as a Research Analyst at Let's Talk Politics (student-led group hosting events for panellists such as Gil Penalosa and Paul Saguil), Compliance Analyst for G20 research group, UCLit equity and outreach commission member, Young Democratic Socialists of Canada member, and the New Resonance acapella group's alto.
