I am an interdisciplinary materials scientist with expertise in nanomaterials, surface engineering, and functional materials for applications including perovskite photovoltaics, environmental remediation, organic synthesis, and advanced coatings. My research spans molecular self-assembly, covalent and noncovalent surface modification, thin-film and core–shell nanostructure fabrication, and the design of functional hydrogels and aerogels. I apply chemical, physical, and photochemical strategies to precisely control material properties at the micro- and nanoscale, translating fundamental insights into practical, high-impact technologies.
Complementing my research, I have extensive experience in teaching, mentoring, and supervising students, and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations that bridge chemistry, materials science, and device engineering.
