Aidan Schmidt

My name is Aidan Schmidt, I am a autistic 19 year old future student from Calgary, Alberta. I have been working since early 2021, and I have tried out several different jobs types, I have worked in fast food as a Tim Hortons Team Member, in the industrial field as a Production Line Worker at Bullseye Packaging, and in the retail sector as an Product Process Associate at Best Buy and as a Seasonal Logistics Processor at Nordstrom Rack. I particularly have an good Affinity for the field of basic mathematics, in which I plan to use it in the field of accounting. In terms of skills, I am a team player, I can work solo, I’m a hard worker who possess good repetition skills, I am decently strong, and I am able to do work well with others. I have been diagnosed with high-function autism since 2009, but I do not see it as a disability, as it’s has benefited me in certain skills, such as my affinity in mathematics.
