I am a Lead Mechanical Engineer with 11years experience in Upstream Oil & Gas industry helping to deliver projects that provide energy for our ever-expanding world. I have been involved in conceptual design, detailed engineering design and construction of processing facilities to identify optimal ways to develop the field, apply engineering standards and procedures to select and size mechanical equipment that will safely deliver the project objectives to deliver value to the customers. My roles have provided me opportunity to work with colleagues across various disciplines and manage contractors.

Lead Mechanical Engineer, Domestic Gas Projects (Mar. 2023 to Present)

• Manage a team of engineers including third party contractors to deliver design, fabrication, and installation of mechanical equipment
• Supervise contractor fabrication and construction activities to deliver within schedule and in accordance to engineering requirements
• Apply company and industry standards in delivery of engineering and construction activities
• Interface with Asset owners, Project leaders and other disciplines on HSSE and engineering activities
• Provide technical assurance in decision making for projects to manage business and safety risks
• Evaluate and manage mechanical discipline related changes during design, fabrication, construction, and commissioning. Participate in management of change process where required
• Provide support to project cost estimation, scheduling, and planning.
• Support Contracting and Procurement team by providing detailed RFQ, data sheet, specification and review technical submission by Vendors and Contractors

Senior Mechanical Engineer, Shallow Offshore Projects (Sep. 2019 to Feb. 2023)

• Managed EPCI contractor's detailed engineering design for offshore oil & gas development projects, developed Basis for Design and technical specification of mechanical equipment
• Achieved >30% Incremental production to Sea Eagle FPSO by managing design, fabrication and installation of new piping manifolds at offshore platform
• Managed EPC contractor activities during fabrication and installation of mechanical equipment. This included yard inspections and offshore site supervision
• Carried out project competitiveness review to obtain Final Investment Decision valued at $377mln
• Received Recognition Award for contributions to successful Project Assurance Review
• Provided coaching to new recruits

Project Engineer, Offshore and Swamp Projects (Dec. 2014 to Aug. 2019)

• Managed construction site of >30 people and an installation vessel to repair mooring system of Sea Eagle FPSO. Project was completed 10days ahead of schedule and $7m below cost
• Managed HSE at site to ensure Goal Zero; no injuries to personnel and no damages to equipment
• Interfaced with Operations, Marine crew, and onshore Logistics to coordinate mobilization of equipment and personnel, alignment of simultaneous activities within the FPSO
• Conducted ad-hoc technical evaluations on site to support commissioning and start-up activities resulting in first gas for a Gas Processing Facility and first oil for two flowstations
• Received Recognition Award for engineering contribution to successful plant start-up

Mechanical Engineer, Shell Engineering Design Office (Dec. 2012 to Nov. 2014)

• Led the mechanical design team for brownfield modification of oil and gas facilities
• Carried out selection and sizing calculations for mechanical equipment
• Review and approve contractor engineering documentation
