I am a graduate of Criminology and Political Science experienced in policy analysis at the state, federal, and international level. My areas of interest include criminal legal policy, housing policy, and international relations.
I have become experienced in the world of the criminal legal system, particularly surrounding the issue of wrongful convictions and the issue of inequality within the criminal legal system. Through my work with the Philadelphia Justice Project, I engaged in research on Pennsylvania’s criminal legal system, particularly focusing on the presence of female prisoners at State Correctional Institution Muncy. Through my work, I spearheaded the ongoing campaign advocating for the release of one of its residents who was wrongfully convicted over three decades ago.
I am a recent graduate from Villanova University holding degrees in both Criminology and Political Science. My proximity to the Philadelphia area allowed for me to deepen my knowledge of the criminal legal system and to work directly with individuals who have been impacted by its policies.
