Dilligent 4th year Biomedical Science Co-op student at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) looking to gain pharmacy experience while considering a career in the field. Goal-oriented worker with strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.

I am currently completing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biomedical Science while aiming to minor in chemistry at TMU. In the pursuit of my degree, I have developed skills such as teamwork, written communication, verbal communication, time-management, and more. In my academic coursework, I often work independently or collaboratively to execute experimental procedures and complete detailed technical reports. I also utilize the complete Microsoft Office Suite regularly to organize experimental data, generate comprehensible graphs, and write coherent lab reports and essays. My academic prowess is reflected in my maintenance of a 4.25 cumulative GPA on TMU's 4.33 GPA scale.

Furthermore, I have been completing a Co-op internship at Patheon by ThermoFisher scientific for the past year. In this role, I have fostered my adaptability, written communication, and interpersonal skills in addition to an ability to pay attention to detail. As a Scientist 1 in Analytical Operations, I must strictly adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs), Good Documentation Practices (GDPs), detailed analytical methods, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while facilitating analytical testing of the numerous pharmaceuticals manufactured on site.

Scientist 1 - Analytical operations -Thermo Fisher Scientific · Co-op

• Facilitates analytical testing of the diverse pharmaceuticals manufactured on site while adhering to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs), detailed analytical methods and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Comprehensively documents all laboratory procedures in accordance with good documentation practices and the ALCOA+ principles of data integrity, demonstrating written communication skills and an ability to pay attention to detail.
• Well-versed in many of the tests and instrumentation utilized in an analytical quality control and research lab, such as, FTIR and UV-Vis spectroscopy, Karl Fischer titration, dissolution, content uniformity, various physical tests, and pH meter calibration and usage.
• Frequently works in tandem with colleagues to complete numerous tests and projects, exercising adept verbal communication skills and collaborative abilities.
