Hi , my name is Alex. I am 28 years old and have been working in the construction/landscaping industry for about 7 years. I have experience in many types of construction including but not limited to forming and pouring concrete sidewalks, stairs and retaining walls. Laying Sod , interlocking and other landscaping materials, and grading/ levelling areas for projects. I am also trained on and have experience with skid steers , rollers, excavators and other machines.
Currently I am a general labourer for the Toronto District school board and have been working with them since 2017.
Some duties I have had have been helping with the maintenance/construction activities in the many different buildings, playgrounds , and parking lots owned by the TDSB. I have been a part of many different projects from installing/fixing/maintaining sprinkler systems , laying sod and interlocking , asphalt repairs , concrete repairs And grooming/ topping up screening for Baseball diamonds and running tracks.
I graduated high school in 2012. I have also completed many training courses since, some of them have been the following.
