I have over five years experience in the hospitality industry, within a range of bars and restaurants with capacity sizes between 80 and 800. I have a true passion for creating a happy, memorable, and fun customer experience.

I also have six further years of experience in business and marketing (including high-level leadership and team management), which you could utilise to help grow your business and clientele. The summary of this experience is listed at the end of this introduction.

Having received my Canadian permanent residency, I'm ready to position my career within Vancouver hospitality where I can immediately use my bar and social skills to positive effect, but also have the opportunity to grow and apply myself in developing as a manager and truly learn the core of your business.

As I navigate my longer term opportunities, I'm currently open to part-time or full-time roles, however if there is an evident fit between us, I'd prefer a full-time opportunity.

Monopole, Sydney, Australia Nov ’18 – Nov ‘19

Bartender / Bar Manager

70 capacity – Michelin Star food & wine bar, with a selection of over 400 wines and 100 spirits, part of the Bentley Group.

• Curated fine experimental cocktails, and sold premium and unique wine, as well as fine dining small sharing plates
• Built short and long term relationships with high net worth groups / individuals, with in-depth product knowledge
• Regularly replenished stock and prepped items for drinks, in charge of orders and new recommendations
• Accustomed to creating multiple different order at once and serving food to bar customers
• Trained bar staff and worked closely with GM and Head Chef to align values and product knowledge

400 capacity – one of Whistler’s busiest evening bars, part of the Gibbons group.

• Managed and trained bar staff to the high level needed for a lot of high spending customers
• Regularly lead team meetings: sales and product knowledge, best practice and efficiencies, and team morale
• Very fast-paced environment making multiple orders at once, including service area when needed
• Big focus on upselling drinks and spirits, whilst promoting and building the positive brand image

500 capacity – Whistler’s busiest après bar with live music and local vibe, part of Vail / Whistler Blackcomb.

• Very locals friendly bar – trust and high energy important to success and a happy customer
• Extremely busy peak times, serving the bar and service, double digit drink checks
• Accustomed to table service when required, always advocating to help cross functional departments 
• In charge of stock checks, rotas, customer enquiries
• In-depth training, brand aligning with all other Vail / WB brands across the resort was important

• Working under pressure with loud music and multiple customers
